Description

This is a beautiful antique Japanese Arita Imari Vase of great scale which dates from the Meiji period. The vase is hand painted in underglaze blue with birds, blossoms and foliage, highlighted with applied gilt and coloured lacquer. This has a very prettily crimped wide flared neck and stands some 86 cms tall; a fantastic floor vase with lots of colour and style.

The vase is in excellent order throughout with no chips or repairs.
