Description

This is a good pair of Chinese Republic Period vases with a twin handle baluster design in the famille rose taste, dating from around 1930.

The vases are in perfect condition with no damage or restoration and are superbly decorated with fabulous detail. The gilded loop handles are a really nice feature and illustrate the quality of manufacturing as does the fine hand painted millefiori enamelling. The colours are a real delight and are crisp and bold with no wear. The vases both have painted Qianlong seals to the base in blue.

These are presented in their original fitted case and the vases measure 13.5 high and in 11 cms diameter.
