Pair of Antique Japanese Ginbari Cloisonne Vases

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a good pair of antique Japanese red ginbari cloisonne vases in perfect condition. The enamelled red glass is overlaid on a tooled and hammered metal body of the vase which is also attractively engraved with birds in flight. There are irises inlaid and enamelled to both vases in contrasting colours. The vases measure 18.5 cms in height and are 9 cms in diameter.
