A small and hugely charming early Victorian fitted oak cupboard. The cupboard has been made to hang but it could equally be used as a table cabinet. The cupboard stands on small turned feet with a small apron below which actually comes out and makes a shelf. The door is beautifully worked with a fine moulded interior edge and a lovely turned escutcheon. The cupboard features a pediment with central boss design and three turned finials. The interior features two drawers and a shelf with adjustable height. The cupboard is fantastic quality and in excellent condition, it even retains the original working key. C.1840.
