Description

Fine quality English burr walnut Linen Press by the renowned company of HEAL & SONS. LONDON.

This delightful Linen Press is veneered in Burr Walnut . The two doors are open to reveal 4 beautifully made mahogany slides / trays, for the storage of linen. Working key supplied.

The bottom section has 2 short and 2 long smoothly running drawers with original wooden knob handles. The Burr Walnut veneers are finely matched, and the makers name of HEAL & SONS. LONDON is stamped into the top of the drawer.

This Linen Press dismantles into 3 sections for ease of moving. The back is completely solid and is of panelled mahogany. Dimensions...Height 81.5 ", Width..57" Depth 22"

Shown here in best condition, this Linen Press has been well maintained by former owners. We have carefully cleaned and wax polished to show off the beauty of the Burr Walnut and its' mellow antique patination. A superb and very useful piece of English furniture.
