Pair of Japanese Meiji Cloisonne Vases

Description

A good pair of Meiji period cloisonné vases circa 1870 in excellent original condition.

The vases have a lovely turquoise ground colour and are beautifully decorated with chrysanthemums with leafy stems. The vases have attractive triple banded base and foot inset with geometric forms and are in perfect condition with no damage or restoration. These measure high 21 cms high and are in 11 cms in diameter.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
