Welsh oak Deuddarn (Court Cupboard) dated 1729. This two part cupboard has wonderful colour and patination. There are replacements panels to the upper back and top and some later back boards to the lower section. One pine drawer lining is later as is the base lining to upper section. Most replacement timber appears to be 19th century sympathetic maintenance. The hinges are original with many of the hand made nails remaining. A super example full of warmth and character.
