Antique Aesthetic Period Vase

Description

This is a superb vase from the Aesthetic Period with great style and drama. The large blue and white double gourd vase dates from around 1860 and is beautifully handpainted in a style which references Japanese porcelain ceramics from the 18th and 19th centuries. The vase is a great statement piece being of a grand scale measuring 46 cms in height and 24 cms in diameter.

It is in excellent order with no damage or restoration.

UK delivery is £20 or you are most welcome to collect.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.

You are most welcome to visit the shop but please always check to confirm we are open before travelling.
