A very attractive Victorian sliver plated cake stand with extensive internal decoration and a swing handle with twist decoration. The makers mark is J D & S and there is a registration mark for 5th June 1878. A lovely piece. Dimensions are 26cms (inc handle hinges) x 25.5cms x height 8cms (handle flat) or overall height 22cms (handle vertical). Viewing by appointment in Silsoe, Bedfordshire.
