The cupboard door is beautifully inlaid with oval figured mahogany and satinwood cross banding, rococo key escutcheon and key with working lock. The sides are reeded and the interior comprises of three shaped shelves which have been later painted. This stylish piece stands on a Victorian stand with beautifully turned legs. The mahogany has aged to a warm rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
