Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
Made in solid oak and decorated with geometric and decorative circular inlays, these are typical of cupboards only made on Angelsey. The two doors to the top section have vented panels to allow food stuffs inside to breath. The lower half of this antique bread and cheese cupboard has two drawers over two panelled cupboard doors. All in very good, original condition, the drawers have the original brass knob hnadles, the sides are panelled, the top cornice is moulded and the cupboard stands well on bracket feet. Inside are fixed shelves, making this a very useful period oak antique cupboard, originally used in a kitchen. All a very good colour / patina.
