Lovely Japanese Gilt Decorated Blue Ground Vase Meiji

Description

Large Mieji period gilt decorated blue ground vase. Dating to circa 1890, the gilt depicts birds in a foliate scene.

The vase stands 23cm high and 12cm wide with a 6cm opening to the top. Condition is good with no damage, chips or restoration and only minor wear to the gilt to the rim.
