It was listed by In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors. Sold pieces stay on Sellingantiques as a record of what has passed through, and the next one is rarely far away.
In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It is in good condition for its age. It has a beautiful aged patina and the grain in the wood is lovely.
We've left the brackets so more shelves could be added if needed. The drawers run smoothly and although the locks have been removed, the gaps have been filled with wood so as not to leave an unsightly hole. The handles have been changed at some point but are good quality and in keeping with the piece. There are some signs of age and minor marks and knocks and some old repairs to the wood but nothing detrimental and overall it is a lovely piece of furniture.
