Dating From Around 1840, This Beautifully Figured Victorian Mahogany Antique Linen Press has a moulded cornice above two beautifully figured cupboard doors with brass clash mould with key with working lock. The interior comprises of five oak lined sliding linen trays which are ideal for keeping garments in order and the lower section has two over two oak lined cock beaded drawers with associated brass handles.
The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
