Early 20th Century Very Unusual Carved Solid Oak Cupboard, Having Hand Wrought Iron Fittings and Decorative Heart Detail.

Description

Early 20th century very unusual carved solid oak cupboard, made in the 17th century style, with hand wrought iron nails and fittings, panelled sides and door.

The cupboard comprises a top with cut corners over a fitted drawer, over a cupboard below which is divided by a shelf. The angled side detail is beautifully carved with heart and leaf detail, echoed by the iron heart shaped pull handles to drawer and door. The iron hinges, and hand wrought nails complete the design.

Size-26 inches wide by 16 inches deep by 36 inches high.

This is a really useful cupboard or cabinet for display, serving , side table and storage.

An unusual piece, with excellent colour and patination, and in very good condition.
