Early 17th Century Oak Food / Clothes Cabinet Cupboard C1720 Wdb100/22.7

Description

This is a lovely early 17th century solid oak joined food or clothes cupboard/cabinet and dating from around 1720. It is constructed form solid oak being hand joined and a very substantial cabinet. It has a cornice top with a fielded panelled central door with panel to either side. Each panel is carved to the top and bottom. It has a ring pull handle and original iron hinges. Internally there are three shelves. It has panelled sides and original rough hewn plank back. It stands on original turned legs.

A lovely early 17th century cabinet which is completely hand joined and with a good colour to the oak with original patination. It measures:

57" high X 23" deep X 44" wide X internal depth 16"
