A Decorative Pair of Japanese Inlaid Mixed Metal Vases by Nogawa Company

1900 - 1920
Description

As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this very attractive pair of inlaid mixed metal bronze vases from the highly regarded Nogawa company, the heavy gauge Sentoku body's have been finely inlaid in various mixed metals, including Gold, Silver, Shibuichi and Shakudo, the vases extensively decorated with native flora and insects, including a Dragonfly a Butterfly and a Hornet, each vase further decorated to the neck shoulders and foot rim with a Silver geometric banding, the Nogawa factory seal inlaid in silver to the underside of each vase.

The condition is great with minor age related wear.
