Description

A really stunning quality library cabinet, linen Press, English, circa 1880, most likely attributable to the firm of Edwards & Roberts.

This cabinet has been well maintained by its former owners and retains the most delightful mellow antique patina. Its a very useful item and can be placed in the library, office or in the bedroom as a clothes press.

Exceptionally heavy, having used the best materials available, this cabinet is made of mahogany, satinwood and English oak for much of the structure.There are eight smoothly running drawers with original brass handles and a working key.

The middle doors open to reveal four mahogany fronted slides, ideal for planning drawings, linen sheets, etc. This is a very flexible cabinet with home and office potential.
