This Stunning Figured Mahogany Victorian Antique Glazed Bookcase On Cupboard circa, 1870 has a moulded cornice above two glazed doors with decorative carved corbels and key with working lock and the interior has three adjustable shelves.
The doors have stunning figured panels with moulded edges and the interior has one central shelf. The piece as a whole stands on a plain plinth and splits into two sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
