Mersham Manor Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
A stunning carved oak Flemish armoire or cupboard in the 17th century style.
Late 19th century-c1890.
The armoire is constructed entirely from solid oak.

The two doors open to reveal a hanging space, with several original hooks to the back and sides, with a long brass hanging rail above. If shelving would suit your needs rather than a hanging space please enquire as we could add shelving if required.

To the base are two drawers with charming mythical goat / dolphin carvings to the fronts.
Standing on large turned bun feet.
A spectacular highly decorative armoire / cupboard of excellent quality, which would work well in many rooms of the house, a hall cupboard, kitchen cupboard, bedroom storage, etc.

To move the armoire the doors are removed and drawers taken out leaving the main body in one piece, but easier to manoeurvre.
Very solid, sturdy and strong.
Original lock to the right door. Original bolt locks to the left door. No key.

Overall excellent condition, with minor signs of use.
