Description

This is an exceptionally pretty Japanese cloisonne vase dating from the Meiji era, c.1890. The three footed vase is a marvelous fluted pumpkin shape that illustrates great craftsmanship. The intricately detailed cloisonne work to the many curved panels is in beautiful shades of sky blue, turquoise, deep green and cinnamon. The cinnamon coloured panels contain tiny sparkling glass pieces.The vase has a small bronze chrysanthemum finial and is in super condition. It measures 13cm high and 13cm in diameter.
