A striking antique corner cupboard decorated in the Chinese style fashionable in the 19th Century, this corner cupboard is beautifully decorated with traditional scenes depicting an oriental landscape with boats, pagodas and charming riders on horseback. This 19th Century cupboard has a simple interior with three shelves, internal catches and a working lock with key. The solid brass butterfly hinges are in good order. The cupboard has a few very minor repairs, which are not easily visible, adding to the antique charm. The distressed finish with the lacquer having a crazed texture, gives the cupboard a vintage, shabby chic appeal. A really fabulous decorative and well proportioned piece to add flair to any interior decor.
