Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The top section has vented doors whilst the cupboard base has two drawers over two doors. Made on Anglesey around 1800-10, this antique oak bread and cheese cupboard features geometric inlays, cross banding in mahogany around the drawers, complete with all the period brass ware and standing well on original bracket feet. In very good, strong and stable condition, all very complete and the patina and colour of the oak timber is wonderful. A lovely example of a Georgian antique oak cwprdd barra caws.
