Pair of Italian Painted Bedside Cupboards

Description

Here we have a pair of very decorative bedside cupboards. They are Italian and were probably made some time in the 3rd quarter of the last century.

Each cupboard stands on tall cabriole legs and has a pair of serpentine shaped doors. Inside are three sliding trays. The shaped tops are painted to look like Siena marble.

The painted decoration has a blue grey ground and has all over floral decoration with charming little birds. The decoration is in good condition with just the right amount of ware.

The maximum dimensions are:

61cm (24“) wide

83cm (32.5“) high

38cm (15“) deep
