With Arts And Crafts Influences This Unusual Satin Birch Antique Victorian Linen Cupboard circa, 1870 has been constructed from striking satin birch, mahogany and beautifully figured bur walnut banding. It has a moulded cornice above a central cupboard door with the original bevelled mirror, the interior has one removable shelf, and there are also four open sections with shaped brackets for that impressive touch.
The interior comprises of two sliding linen trays and one removable shelf, making this an ideal piece of furniture for either a bedroom or bathroom. This unique and striking piece stands on a moulded plinth and splits into two sections for easy removal. The satinwood has aged to a rich golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
