Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1800s.
Dating from around 1840, this piece of original painted pine furniture has two panelled doors to the top section, with raised and elongated arched panels to either side and to the centre. The doors have the original brass handles and key covers and working locks with a key. Inside the cupboard are two fixed shelves, the interior is in the original green paint finish. The lower section stands on well turned feet and has two short drawers over two long drawers, all the drawers run well and have the period, wooden knob handles. A very useful, versatile piece of English painted furniture, for kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, in very good condition.
