Description

Large Georgian Antique Pine Housekeepers Cupboard.

This is a fabulous piece of eighteenth century, Georgian antique pine storage furniture, originally a housekeepers cupboard.

Due to its size, the antique cupboard provides a varied and vast amount of space.

Splits into two at the waist. The top section has a well moulded cornice with three cupboard doors, all moulded. Inside are three fixed shelves, these have a reeded front.

The antique housekeepers cupboard stands on shaped bracket feet, the base has nine drawers, three over three, all having the period wooden knob handles.

All nine drawers run well, they have a scratch mould around them and still have the original green paint finish inside.

Dating from around 1770, this grand English antique housekeepers cupboard is in very good condition throughout.
