This is a very original, antique welsh food cupboard that dates from around 1790-1800.
Made in solid oak, using the pegged method, in lovely condition throughout.
The base has six drawers, all having the period turned wooden handles and the drawers run smoothly.
A useful piece of antique Welsh furniture, that stands on tall bracket feet and features panelled sides, shaped panels to the two upper cupboard doors, shaped, quarter columns to the sides and a strip of mahogany cross banding that runs just under the cornice.
