Description

An absolutely stunning 19th century two-door glazed cupboard in English oak. Each door is comprised of a trefoil Gothic arch with two quatrefoil cutouts above. It has a straight-moulded overhanging cornice and a plain plinth moulding below. The two doors – with a working key and two sliding bolts – open to reveal a general purpose storage compartment with the original single adjustable-height solid oak shelf. This beautifully stylish cabinet is English and it dates from c.1860s/c.1880s. It can be floor standing or wall mounted.
