An 18th Century Georgian Irish Yew Corner Cupboard

An 18th century Georgian yew wood two part double corner cupboard with beautiful colour, grain and character to the timber and dating to c.1850’s. The top section with a dentil moulded cornice above two fielded panel doors and two short drawers with brass swan neck handles with pierced backplates, and sitting on a base with two further panelled doors.
 
The black painted interior has shaped shelves and catches to the right doors. while the right doors have their original lock plates, locks and come with a key. Not shown are the oak backboards which on one side is made from a full width piece of oak.
 
This corner cupboard is in good original condition and finished with a traditional wax polish. There are knocks to the corner edges and s is often the case with furniture of this age there are a couple of blocks lost from the sides of the dentil work and some old worm (treated as a precauction). The keys does not reliably work the lower lock.
