This Unusual Serpentine Edwardian Mahogany Antique Glazed Floor Standing Corner Cupboard circa, 1910 is of spectacular quality with a serpentine shaped cornice with Grecian moulded edge and unique pear drop carved frieze.
The lower section has beautifully shaped doors with flamed mahogany panels, and the interior has one fixed shelf. The corners are canted with blind fretwork carvings and this splendid piece stands on ogee shaped bracket feet and also splits into two sections for easy removal. The Mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
