Magnificent Country Oak 17th Century Antique Court Cupboard

This Magnificent Country Oak 17th Century Antique Court Cupboard Dated 1613 is a splendid example of a true early country oak piece and is of pegged construction. It has a moulded cornice above a beautifully carved frieze and has two turned droplets. There are two cupboard doors and a central panel which again have been outstandingly carved. The lower section has two cupboard doors with moulded edges and early iron hinges and beautifully figured panels. The interior of this super antique comprises of one fixed shelf. It stands on raised feet and benefits from later backboards . The Oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
