Above a central panel with the carved initials D E E and dated 1717, flanked by a pair of charming carved doors, having wonderful naive chip-carved arcaded designs, with original turned wooden handles.
The lower section having two large panelled doors, retaining the beautifully rustic iron butterfly hinges.
The colour is glorious, wonderfully patinated, rich and warm. Very tactile and simply glows.
The overall condition is very good, with general expected signs of age and use. Re-placed backboards and top-board.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
Dismantles into two sections.
