Description

A most attractive single-door general-purpose 19th century cupboard. The moulded-edge top sits over a single carcass enclosed by a rectangular recessed panelled door opening to reveal a storage interior with a single shelf. The level of this shelf can be easily altered to any specified height. It rests on a simple plinth base support and has its original backing boards. The finish throughout is superb; a rich colour and a glowing patination. This lovely little cabinet could act as a drinks cupboard or in place of a bedside table. It is English, c.1870s.
