Large Decorative Japanese Cloisonne Vase Meiji Period

1900 - 1920
Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this large and highly decorative Japanese cloisonne vase , the light blue ground vase is decorated to the main body in silver wire ,depicting birds and butterflies amidst various flora to include trailing wisteria, lillies and pink roses, the borders are geometric designs with gold speckled ground and white styalised crysanthemums ,a very decorative cloisonne vase from the great Meiji period.

The condition of cloisonne is vital and we are pleased to say the vase has no dinks, dents or enamel damage and only expected age related wear.
