It has a moulded cornice with a deep flamed mahogany frieze above two cupboard doors with beautiful mahogany cross banded edges and the original brass key escutcheons. The interior has three fixed bow fronted shelves in very early / original paint finish. This very simple but stylish country cupboard has aged to a lovely rich warm shade of oak with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
