Quality Period Oak Antique Floor Standing Corner Cupboard

This beautiful period oak corner cupboard is floor standing and a lovely example of a quality piece dating from around 1780. It has a moulded cornice, with dental moulding, above four delightfully figured panelled doors having moulded edges. The interior has a total of three shelves, all shaped and still retaining the original paint finish. The cupboard has reeded sides and stands on shaped bracket feet. It splits into two sections for ease of removal and the oak is a lovely warm medium shade. It has a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
