The centre support can be removed and the blank piece of wood lifts out to reveal a secret drawer (see photo.). Below are 3 moulded edge drawers with typical Chinese handles. The base has a lift out door with 3 fielded panels and a decorative stylised butterfly brass handle. Standing on short moulded legs, the stretchers with carved and turned decoration.
