Superb Georgian Antique Mahogany Linen Press Cupboard

Description

Superb Georgian Antique Mahogany Linen Press Cupboard.

This English antique mahogany linen press is excellent quality and is very well proportioned.

Dating from the George III period around 1780.

The flame mahogany is a fabulous colour and is in lovely condition.

The cornice which features box wood and ebony string inlays and inlaid dental moulding, lifts off.

The two solid mahogany doors have a reeded brass clash mould.

Inside the top section are five mahogany clothes slides, all in very good clean condition.

In the chest section, the two graduated drawers are finely cock beaded and both have the original brass swan neck handles.

This is a super, little Georgian antique mahogany linen press, in excellent condition, now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms.
