Quality Georgian Mahogany Floor Standing Antique Corner Cupboard

This antique Georgian floor standing corner cupboard, circa 1790, is constructed from mahogany and is of super quality. It has a moulded cornice above a deep figured mahogany frieze over two cupboard doors each having three raised fielded panels with beautifully figured centres and moulded edges. The doors have a key with working lock and brass 'H' hinges. The interior consists of three fixed shelves and three small oak lined drawers to the base. The piece has been later adapted to stand on shaped bracket feet making it a much more practical and desirable cabinet for modern requirements. The mahogany is a lovely medium warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
