Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1870s.
It has a rectangular moulded top above two cupboard doors with arched moulding, key and working lock. The interior has four over two deep mahogany lined drawers with brass swan neck handles. The antique cupboard stands on a plain plinth and still has its original back boards. It is a rich warm medium shade of mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
