It has a moulded cornice above a dental moulded frieze over two beautifully figured cupboard doors having moulded edges, original Art Nouveau brass handle with later key and working lock. This upper section contains three removable shelves. The base has a low waisted rectangular moulded top above two beautifully figured cupboard doors again with moulded edges, original brass handle and later working lock. The interior of the base contains a single removable shelf while the whole piece stands on a plain plinth and can be split into two sections for ease of removal. This gorgeous golden oak cupboard has very practical proportions with a multitude of possible uses, being grand enough for a hallway or living space but also having the practical storage space useful in a kitchen. The oak has a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
