A Large Pair of Mettlach Aesthetic Movement Vases C 1890

Description

A large pair of Mettlach Aesthetic Movement Vases c 1890 of ovoid shape in the Japanese taste embossed, painted, decorated and gilt metal mounted on an earthenware ground with Japanese Cranes and Bamboo in an aquatic landscape. The necks and base with a continuous frieze of mon between gilt borders.

Impressed Mettlach to the base and interlocked VB for Villeroy and Boch.

In perfect original condition with minor rubbing to the rims.

Size 12 ins across 21 ins high

We have our own van and can offer well priced deliveries to all parts of the UK including weekly deliveries to London and the Home Counties.
