Made in two pieces, this antique food cupboard is traditionally made using the pegged method and it has panelled sides.
Dating from 1800 and from Caernafonshire, the antique food cupboard is known in Welsh as cwpwrdd barra caws.
The wonderful deep oak colour and finish is very original, the top section of this food cupboard features vented panel sections, this is so the food inside can breathe.
The base has two drawers over two cupboards, all have the original brass knob handles and ebony inlaid, diamond shaped eschuteons.
