Fantastic Japanese Cloisonne Vases Hirosuke Gonda 1865-1937

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this superb quality pair of Japanese cloisonne vases,these stylish vases are typical of the art nouveau period and signed by one of the leading Japanese cloisonne artists of the Meiji period HIROSUKE GONDA 1865-1937 ,the blue ground is superbly highlighted with lilac and white iris in wireless and silver wired techniques , the lobed flared tops are made from solid silver with the bases being plated and signed.

Condition is everything with cloisonne and we are pleased to say this pair are as perfect as you could wish for , a must have for any serious collector of good quality cloisonne !!
