Large Japanese Imperial Satsuma Vase Meiji Period 1868-1912

Description

Here on offer as part of our oriental collection is a large and very decorative imperial satsuma vase, the vase is predominatly decorated with floral panels in the jewel like enamel pallete most often used to signify royal or imperial satsuma , the vase stands over a foot tall and is signed to the base , apart from some light gilt rubbing the vase is in perfect condition throughout with no chips , cracks or restorations .
