A fine and original Georgian Oak and Pine Housekeepers cupboard. The cupboard stands on a plinth base and has two sets of double door cupboards, each door is in solid oak with fielded panels and the top pair are nicely arched. The doors retain the original escutcheons, but the hinges are late nineteenth century ones. The interior is shelved and completely original. The top is finished with a swept cornice. The cupboard is made as is often the case with country items with an oak front but with painted pine sides, the whole is in excellent untouched condition and the oak is of a warm colour.
