Here we have a beautiful French Mahogany Armoire c1880. This 3rd Republic Armoire has exceptional colour and patina. The top has a fantastically shaped pediment with wonderful turned finials and moulding. There is a single drawer with a moulded edge to the top and half mouldings to the cantered sides both top and bottom. The door has quartered flame Mahogany veneer to the fielded panel and herring bone angled cross banding to the surround. Offered in great retail condition this striking and useful piece has excellent storage space and is a lovely size. The shelves are all adjustable and the key locks both the drawer and door. The dimensions are approx 66 inches high 18.5 inches deep and 32.5 wide.
