Antique German 900 Silver Lavender Guilloche Enamel Belt Buckle Louis Kuppenheim

Description

A beautiful and highly collectable early 20th Century GERMAN JUGENDSTIL BELT BUCKLE by the renowned luxury Silversmith LOUIS KUPPENHEIM PFORZHEIM GERMANY c1900-1910.

Featuring a striking octagonal frame encasing a panel of Lavender/Lilac Enamel.

The reverse features its original functional silver fittings.

Measuring 8 cm x 5.5 cm and weighs 44.5 grams.

In very good antique condition, no losses to the enamel, surface wear with a light scratches to the enamel , hallmarks good, the reverse once had a gold wash which is now rather tarnished. Surface wear to the back and including a 1cm visible scratch. Beautiful subtle Lavender/Lilac Guilloche enamel.
