AC Silver has dated this Antique Diamond Crescent Brooch to the 1900s.
This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold with a silver setting*.

The crescent shaped, pierced decorated frame is ornamented with a central 0.68ct Old European round cut diamond, flanked on either side by a 0.52ct and 0.50ct feature diamond.
The silver set design is embellished with a further twenty-two claw set Old European round cut diamonds, graduating in size dependant on location; the goldsmith has carefully selected evenly matched, high-quality, hand-cut diamonds.

The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.
This diamond crescent brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 carat gold and silver.

This impressive Victorian brooch is supplied with five IDGL diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
This graduated diamond crescent brooch in gold serves as a heartfelt gift. Traditionally, diamonds signify strength, lasting love and commitment, enhanced by the enduring warmth of the gold setting. This unique brooch is an excellent choice for celebrating milestone birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, retirement events or notable personal accomplishments.

The diamonds are set in silver atop a 9ct yellow gold gallery and backing, a characteristic setting technique of the Victorian era in which silver was used to enhance the white appearance and brilliance of the diamonds, whilst the yellow gold backing prevented the tarnishing of silver from coming into contact with clothing.
